Transgressus - to cross (over)
Intermundium - space between worlds
A favourite pastime of mine is capturing the transient theatre of life playing out around me. The stage - anywhere, but usually the spaces and streets of an urban sprawl. The actors - workers working, commuters commuting, sellers selling; who are, by and large, unaware of my subliminal presence in their world. Occasionally, however, that liminal space between their world and mine is crossed and I become part of the scene playing out as they become aware of, and react to, my presence. The moment - fleeting; and the only proof of it ever having been, an image forever frozen in time on my camera.
