Lizard Point

Lizard Point is at the southern tip of the Lizard Peninsula. At a longitude of 49° 57' 30" N it is the most southerly point on mainland Great Britain. The first sighting of the Spanish Armada was off Lizard Point at 15:00 on 29 July 1588.
